This is an evening of fun, music, games, and of course HEAD SHAVING! Come in hats, wigs, any form of head attire and the most exciting/best will win a secret prize. If you don’t, you will be threatened with head shaving!!... (an extra donation will get out of it...). There will be a raffle and other games with all manner of prizes.
So why head shaving??I have a Cavernoma in my brain; I am having a craniotomy to remove this on 19 November 2009. I have to have my head shaved for this surgery; I don’t have a choice. But rather than sit at home, do it in private and get miserable about it, I thought I would make a public show of it, get as many people to join in, have a fun night and at the same time raise awareness for this condition and Leukaemia, and raise money for people who are not so fortunate. We currently have 9 people shaving their heads on the night.
