And welcome to the official way to raise money for CRUSAID as part of Sexual Health Awareness Week (SHAW 2009). Sexual health issues are on the rise and this week is an amazing way to fight against the stigma, prejudice and silence surrounding STDs, HIV and AIDS.
By participating in this week and by running the 5k Fun Run around the Warwick University campus (please see link for more details), you both highlight the very real threat of the increasing numbers of sexually-transmitted disease, and also pledge to help those who are affected by them and suffer under them for life.
CRUSAID is a vital charity that offers support and grants both nationally and internationally to those affected by HIV and AIDS. Please visit their webpage to see the important work they do.
