UPDATE: We made £12.13 selling the rest of the weekend's cakes at Sheetal's mum's school

UPDATE: We had everything ready for another car boot sale at 7 am this Sunday morning (oct 4th)...The sun was shining and we were rearing to go! (Ok actually we were groggy and bleary eyed.) We went off to print off the directions and saw a huge, RED sign on the website saying 'CANCELLED'

We brainstormed a few ideas, and my mum suggested that we go to a farmer market..In Epsom...A 15 minute drive away...We took 50 minutes to get there....and then wandered around trying to find the manager and accumulating goodies (for ourselves.) We then drove back to Oxshott, getting lost on the way back....At midday we decided we would go around the houses in my area as a last resort.

Turns out this was a GREAT IDEA! We made £65.31 in total and managed to sell a lot of our stuff..! Also, Sheetal managed to meet her lovely neighbours (finally.) So in the end...We had a very productive day...! Looking forward to next week......

UPDATE: 26/27th Sept we raised £83.85 at car boots sales :)

Caroline and Sheetal are skydiving 13,000 feet for Action Against Hunger on November the 15th!!! Out of the £550 we raise £350 goes straight to the charity and as ukskydiving also relies wholly on donations really the jump is 100 % for charity!

This is a special fundraising event being held by Action Against Hunger to celebrate its 30th birthday...With 30 skydivers!

ACF International (known as Action Against Hunger in the UK) is an international humanitarian organisation committed to saving the lives of malnourished children and their families in over 40 countries worldwide. Sheetal has been working in the fundraising department for two months now and is really keen to give something back to this amazing charity. Caroline kindly agreed to join in solidarity!

Any donation is greatly appreciated as a little goes a long way with the essential but lifesaving work that Action Against Hunger does...So thank you in advance. We'll also be raising money with bake sales and anything else we think of (or you think of - get in touch!).
