On October 14th '07 I'm off to Peru as part of a medical and dental team going to work on The Amazon Hope boat for 2 weeks. During this time The boat will sail up the Amazon visiting the villages and settlements on the way. You may have seen the recent STV series about this- "Amazon Heartbeat"

There we will provide medical and dental care to people who live in great poverty and who have little contact with the outside world.

I am funding my own trip but would be grateful for donations to the charity to allow it to continue it's great work.

Peter and I are going on an island hoping trip on our bikes in September and sponsorship for this would be good. We'll be visiting Arran, Islay and Bute.
