Hi, thank you for visiting my page.  I am running the London Marathon to support the British Lung Foundation.  Lung disease is a huge problem in this country - it affects one in 7 people and it's a major cause of death.  I wouldn't be surprised if, like me, you know someone who's been affected by lung disease - be it asthma or lung cancer, and yet it's often overlooked.

If you can't breathe, you can't live.  It's as simple as that - our lungs are vital for life, they make it possible for the heart to pump, the brain to work and the body to function.  I'll certainly be relying heavily on mine to get me round the Marathon course!
