British 10K London Run 2009 · 12 July 2009 ·

Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page for my first ever 10K race.  I will be running with my friend Sue whose father died from Motor Neurone Disease in April 2008.  Since then my friend Julie's mother has also been diagnosed and is now suffering from this cruel disease.

I am taking part in this race to show my support for these two good friends and their families by helping raise funds for the MND Association.  Any donation you can afford to make will be very greatly appreciated and will help motivate me to keep on running as fast as I can so please sponsor me now!

Many thanks
Sheila.
