Hi guys....me and Poppy made it round the 10k!!! Poppy was switched off but with her help before and after my bloods were in range all day :) had a great time but broke a toe before the race so a fair bit of pain on the run, majorly hot day and water supplies low but had a great time and the medal to prove it :) Thank you everyone for helping me exceed my target...it's such a worthy cause!!! Lots of Love x Ps so many ppl shouted MINNIE at me on the way round haha!!!!! x

Thanks loads for visiting my page, last Sept I did the 5k (raised £650) so this year I am upping my game, well doubling the distance!
I have had type 1 diabetes for 7 years, and run a successful group for 18-30's with diabetes called Circle D (http://www.circledrocks.co.uk) . Diabetes is serious and affects me and my friends with diabetes 24/7 and sometimes it can feel like a real battle, not to mention get you down! I really want to raise as much money as possible for Diabetes UK to help pay for the much needed research to find THE CURE!
I have recently got an insulin pump called POPPY so we will be running together, so please bear in mind there are two of us when making your donation ;0)
Please give generously, it really is for a good cause, and the more you donate the faster me and Poppy will run!
