As most of you know I have been bitten by the running bug and I am now going to undertake my biggest challenge yet - 26.2 miles around this amazing city I am blessed to call home.

Unfortunately when out running I sometimes see the darker side of things.  I see the homeless.  Don't assume that homeless person is there because 'they brought it on themselves'. The majority of us are one step away from being homeless or one bad domestic situation away from huddling in our car with our kids. Some are veterans who came home to nothing. Some are vulnerable and have been taken advantage of.

Please help me help them. It could be you that needs it one day.
