We are a small group of Police Officers from Leicestershire Constabulary who were based at Shepshed Police station and have for a number of years been raising funds for various charities through different challenges.

This years challenge is to cycle from the London Eye to the Eifel tower in four days!!

The team consists of Pete Baker, Andy Clifton, Colin Gardner, Jim Saville, Linda Stephens and Bob Beaken.

The aim is to set off from The London Eye about mid day on 22/06/2008 cycling down to Canterbury for an overnight stop. The following day we will cycle down to Folkestone  where we will cross the Channel to Calais then cycle on to Boulogne where we will stop overnight. On the Tuesday we will continue cycling to Amiens where we will spend the night before completing the journey of 86 miles the following day finishing at the Eifel tower sometime in the late afternoon of the 25/06/2008.

we have a number of companies who are sponsoring us in various ways which incude Halfords who have provided some spares for the challenge ,  tangentlink who have agreed to sponsor us , Eurotunnel National car rental and Welcomebreak who are supporting in in this event. Hopefully there will be many more companies and individuals who will follow suit and help us to raise some much needed money for this worthwhile charity.

so please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
