First of all, thank you so much for visting my fundraising page. It's the first and most important step.

Yes I know! I couldn't believe what I'd gotten myself into either!!!
My first marathon ever will be a huge task for me, not only because I am not a natural runner, but also because I've never tried to raise so much money at one time.

I am running for Afghan Aid, who work alongside the Afghan community, providing assistance for people in hardship and distress. So all the money donated will go straight to the people who will benefit from it. 

Please give generously to this worthy cause and support my efforts on their behalf.

£5 will provide salts to treat 85 children with acute diarrhoea.
£10 will purchase improved wheat seed allowing a farmer to plant and provide for his family for one year.
£15 provides health care education for 18 children.
£25 buys 10 books for a children's resource centre library.
£35 secures safe drinking water for a family.
£50 can educate 30 children in child rights. 
£100 provides carpet weaving materials.
£500 builds a reservoir to provide a village with clean drinking water.
