My story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page, produced in memory of Sherri Fuller. (aka Shezling ). My Dad Vince, my brother Tom, my Grandmother Andrea and myself (Mike), my wife Tracey and our son Jamie,(Sherri's grandson) have been made aware that Sherri was much loved, not only by us, but across the world and was very very popular.

Sherri  made the decision to be admitted to Cynthia Spencer Hospice in Northampton 9 days before she closed her eyes for her final journey, that was  on the 22nd July 2008.The round the clock care, ensured that Sherri's days and nights were as comfortable and pain free as was possible. Her family, very close friends, work colleagues, and neighbours, who live locally were able to be with her at anytime of the day and night. She was never alone.

UPDATE (28.09.09): Raising funds for the second flotation bed is our new target. Sherri's Mum, Andrea continues to collect goods to sell at table top and car boot sales. People have been very generous donating new items to be sold. Sherri's 'Budding Buddies' are collecting lots of things to sell and hope that all their friends in Northampton will look in those cupboards for things we can sell to raise money. We will not stop until the £5,000 target is reached. The care that was provided at the hospice to Sherri, was second to none and we are all so grateful to all of the staff and volunteers at the hospice.

We are committed to raising money for TWO Flotation beds (£2500 each) for the Hospice, this is one of their priority needs. This type of bed is invaluable for palliative care  and we are very very grateful to everyone who has donated so far, in memory of Sherri.

Once again, a big thank you to everyone who has helped with their time, effort and thought. We miss Sherri, of course we do; however, she lives through her family and we really feel her presence. I know Andrea talks to Sherri every single day and feels her daughter's stardust  all around her.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to donate: The Cynthia Spencer Charitable Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid is added to your donation.Thank you for your support.
