Hospices provide invaluable care for patients suffering from terminal cancer. The care my brother-in -law, Charles, received was wonderful. Not only do the army of dedicated staff and volunteers provide care and support for the patients but they also do an amazing job of supporting family and friends at a very difficult time. Hospices are at the heart of the communities they serve and rely heavily on support from individuals, local groups and businesses to fund the vital services they provide. Running this race is just my way of helping to keep this valuable service available.
