Disability Sport Events- MANCHESTER TOWN HALL EXTENSION ABSEIL · 22 June 2008 ·

At Activity Alliance, we believe that everyone belongs in sport and physical activity. Yet, disabled people remain the least active in our society. Our strategy, We All Belong, drives meaningful change by tackling the biggest challenges disabled people face when trying to be active in sport.

Story

On 22nd June 2008 I shall be abseiling down The Manchester Town Hall Extension to raise funds for Disability Sport Events.

DSE creates opportunities in sport for people with impairments.  Their events provide pathways to international success.  From grassroots events such as the Mini Games for 6-12 year olds to elite competition like the Open Athletics, their programmes are available to guide talented disabled sports people onto greater success.  They receive no government funding and rely totally on fundraising and sponsorship for their programmes to exist.

I have set a target of £100.00, but would really like to raise more, so please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Disability Sport Events will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
