We are the Shooting Orchids a group of 10 cyclists from South London, cycling from Hampton to Samoens, in the French Alps. We'll be travelling 700 miles in 7 days, stopping by at campsites in the evenings.

We're looking to raise £20,000 by August 2009, when we depart. The money raised will be split equally between Orchid Cancer Appeal and Shooting Star Children's Hospice. We have organised that all the money donated will go to Shooting Star and then it will be split 50/50 with Orchid.

Any money we raise will make a huge difference to both charities, whether it be invaluable research into prostate and testicular cancer, or improving the quality of life for children with life threatening illnesses.
