At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

We have both wanted to walk across the country following the route of Hadrian's Wall.

Since we decided to embark on this expedition, we also thought we'd raise money for Alzheimer's as both our families have been affected by the disease.

Our walk will start Saturday May 1st from Bowness on Solway and end at Tynemouth Priory by the Friday.  Hopefully we will average 15-20 miles a day through whatever weather is thrown at us.

You can follow our progress through our phone blogs through ipadio: http://ipadio.com/phlogs/ElizabethLutgendorff/
