At Young Lives vs Cancer, we help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. We’ll face it all together – but we can’t do it without you. Visit www.younglivesvscancer.org.uk

Story

Following on from last year's successful charity headshave event, which raised approximately £2000 , I am now prepared to put my beard on the line for CLIC Sargent, the UK's leading children's cancer charity.

My beard has long divided opinion between those who think it's aweSOME and those who think it's awFUL. So the time has come to ask the ultimate question...

SHOULD I SHAVE OR SHOULD I GROW?

Here's the deal. There will be another day of music in Crosby Village on Sunday 22nd September 2013 (details to follow) If, by 5pm on that day, there is £1000 more in the SHAVE fund than the GROW fund, the beard gets it. If there is less than £1000 difference, then I will continue to grow my beard, rollover the totals and do the whole thing again next year!

By donating via this page, you are contributing to the SHAVE fund. If you would prefer me to continue to GROW my beard, click here to visit my 'Should I Grow?' page. Either way, all the money raised will help to support the families of the 10 children and young people who are diagnosed with cancer every day in the UK.

Thank you for your support and I hope to see you on 22nd September.
