50lbs need to go by the end of this year. Start weight now confirmed at 19 stone 5lbs. Target is 15 stone 11lb.
I have battled with my weight for many years and even lost 50lbs with weight watchers a few years ago. Unfortunately due to the stresses of life with two small children, one with Autism, the weight piled on with a vengeance.
Now, an active member of a growing branch of the National Autistic Society in Alton, Hampshire, and with my two children full time at school, this is MY time to achieve a healthier body and brain.
As a group we are always looking for ways to raise money to help support families in our area who are affected by Autism. I hope to combine both my need to get fit and healthy with the need to help others, going through the difficult times we have faced, and still do. Autism can put the most enormous strain on families, especially without support, and unfortunately too many families do not get the help they so desperately need.
