Story

Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page.

As the opening suggests, I will be cycling from John O'Groats to Land's End (Scotland down to Cornwall) this summer with the University of Kent Cycling Club in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. We will be doing this in 2 weeks, leaving from the 17th of June and aiming to climb the three highest peaks of the United Kingdom as well as complete the coast to coast challenge in Scotland (Inverness to Fort William).

I believe it is a good cause for the team as 1 in 3 people are affected by some form of cancer. More than 30% of people could be cured if their cancer is discovered early, it seems that any donation could reduce that number as the money is used for treatments, cures and support for those affected by cancer. I have personally been affected by cancer and can say that Macmillan do help a lot, as well as other cancer aid charities.

You will be making a difference to thousands of people out there, making their lives a little brighter.

All I need you to do is donate anything you want, like ASDA say, every little helps *smacks bum*.

(Just a message from JustGiving if you're sceptical). Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
