Thank you for giving up your precious time to come this far, please keep clicking...
On Wednesday 28th July 2010 I’m going to attempt a 24 hour sponsored silence to raise money for charity. My day of torture will be monitored (and challenged no doubt!) by Jake and Issy amongst others and you are more than welcome to join me whilst I try to raise money/awareness locally. I will be targeting the areas around Northcote Road and Bellevue Road so keep an eye out for me.
I am raising money for two charities:
Breast Cancer - Too Many Women – started by my old friend Harry Becher who lost his mother to breast cancer last year. I know many of you have seen loved ones affected by this illness and have your own stories to tell so do please sponsor me, or have a look at the website www.toomanywomen.co.uk to see what else you can do to support this worthy cause.
Huntington’s Disease - HiDden No More - I recently went to support my friends Charles and Nicole Sabine to celebrate the launch of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Huntington’s Disease. HD is a hereditary disease which slowly destroys the ability to control and co-ordinate movement and thought. This devastating illness effects men and women and normally develops in adulthood. Currently there is no known cure. Please go to www.hiddennomore.co.uk if you would like to find out more.
ALL DONATIONS FROM THIS PAGE WILL GO TO BREAST CANCER. PLEASE CLICK HERE http://www.justgiving.com/Charlotte-Brown0 TO DONATE TO HUNTINGTON'S
I have committed to raising £500 for each charity and I hope to raise more. Both causes are desperately in need of our help…..
……and surely my staying silent for a whole 24 hours is worth every penny!
