Thank you for visiting my Just Giving page!  In September I am joining a group of friends to scale the dizzying heights of Mont Blanc.  At 4,807 meters, Mont Blanc is the highest mountain in Western Europe, so this trek will test my powers of endurance to the limit.

Between us we have already raised over £25,000.  We have been delighted and overwhelmed by the generosity of people so far.  But there is so much more that can and must be done! 

All the money will help the MND Association support people living with MND.  This terrible, fatal disease robs people of the ability to walk, talk and feed themselves.  Yet the mind often remains alert and healthy.

Two years ago, my fiance's father was told the devastating news that he had MND.  Those were very dark times for the family, but throughout it all the MND Association kept in touch, providing us with invaluable information and support.

By taking part in the Mont Blanc challenge, I hope to raise awareness of this horrible condition and as much money as possible to help fund the MND Association's important work.
