Hello,
Thank you for visiting my site and supporting me for the following reason...
A very good friend of mine, Henry Scot-Simmonds was diagnised with Leukemia two years ago. He was fortunate enough to get a bone marrow transplant to give him a chance of surviving. The Anthony Nolan Trust were instrumental in sourcing the transplant against all odds. He has had an extremely challenging time of it since the operation and shows remarkable resilience and strength to stay positive and battle the complications on a daily basis.
I recently visited him in Guys Hospital where he still has his sense of humour under fairly shitty circumstances! I am fortunate enough to have a couple of weeks free and would like to raise a little money for the Anthony Nolan Trust to say thank you for getting Henry this far. This is all very last minute but talking to Henry has made me realise that some times you just have to get on with it and be a bit more appreciative of what you have. That's deep! ;0)
So, with very little training I am going to cycle unsupported by myself from Lands End to John O Groats starting next weekend (1 August) to raise some funds for this cause. This is a total of approx 1050 miles that I plan to complete in approx 15/16 days days but this could very easily turn in to 15 weeks?! I will be following a very similar route to the following link. You are more than welcome to join me for a day or put me up for the night if you are en route!

I appreciate that we all have many requests to make charitable donations. All I ask is for you to donate a small amount and spend a couple of minutes (max) to click on the link and go through the process. I have to be realistic about how much I can raise at such short notice but a £1000 target would be fantastic. It really would be appreciated.
Many thanks for your support. It will be a great motivator for me when I get down to Penzance and wonder what the hell I am doing down there?! :0)
