Silence (without a voice, like many kids in the middle) · 19 April 2013

At last, a voice for kids caught in the middle of family splits! A place where they can get support, particularly from young people who have been through it. Funded by young people and by family lawyers and mediators.

Story

My name is Oliver and I'm part of a group of young people, from two schools raising money to help launch a new charity 'Kids In The Middle' which aims to provide a one on one, peer mentoring service for children going through family seperation.

Our start up is being backed by family lawyers, the media and the Agony Aunts who all agree this project is essential for children going through a hard time. More information about the charity and our fundrasing can be found on our website www.kidsinthemiddle.org.uk

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have decided to spend one week, from the 19th-27th of June, helping to support children in the middle by remaining in complete silence, including all electronic and written forms of communication. My only contact will be a blog that I will post daily, to try to keep everyone up to date on my progress. I won't have a voice, like so many children in the middle.
