As you know I run silsden.net which is financed through advertising (the banners you see on the site).
Private selling is free on the website forum
However, on the forum pages 'free' commercial advertising has been discouraged in the past because it's unfair on businesses who support the website through banner advertising
Occasionally some people want to advertise a commercial item on the forum e.g. perhaps selling a house, renting a room or other items which are clearly part of a business or will have a commercial gain, but they do not want to pay for a banner. Now you can posting your business interests without having a banner but I'm asking you to make a donation to the charity Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
Commercial one-off advertising on the forum pages (this is what this page has been setup for). Please make a donation to Yorkshire Air Ambulance, £10 is suggested and if you can use Gift Aid it will make your donation worth an extra 25% Whatever you do please give something.
