Cash for Kids is a grant-giving charity, supporting young lives from birth to 18. Our mission is to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across the North East who are affected by poverty, illness, neglect or have additional needs.

Story

Hello lovely people.
The Great North Run is once again upon us and we will be running to raise funds on behalf of 'Cash for Kids' who provide support to thousands of children across the North East. Many have suffered abuse or neglect and Cash for Kids provide a helping hand where it is needed most.
Pete: "It will be my debut run in Newcastle...   in fact my debut run anywhere! but I will be showing Simon how to really run this race
Simon: "In a move that is sure to stun the medical world, I will be running my 9th Great North Run despite being involved in pretty hefty car crash in June - went for my first run in 3 months last night (25.7.10) and it was pretty tough to say the least. Although, not sure Haribo and Coke is the best source of energy"
Thanks for reading our page and please help us reach our target for this great cause.
Thank you so much.
