Virgin London Marathon 2011 · 17 April 2011 ·
Hi, thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving fundraising page.
I have set myself a challenge for 2011, to raise money for a very worthy cause - macmillan cancer care. Cancer affects millions of people, we can all help.
As I have completed a marathon before I wanted to set myself a new challenge, to really test myself and raise as much money as possible, here is what I am setting out to do:
Sun 10th April - Brighton Marathon (26.2)
Mon 11th to Fri 15th April - Cycle to work, 27 miles per day (135)
Sat 16th April - Swim 1 mile (1)
Sun 17th April - London Marathon (26.2)
So, a total of 188.4 miles in 7 days, starting and finishing with a marathon.
As you can imagine I am having to do plenty of training and it will only get more and more intense as the time draws nearer, not only that I need to learn to swim properly too!
Please please sponsor me, your support will encourage me to go on and complete this challenge and provide funds for a very worthy cause
many thanks for any help you can provide.
