Story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
I have chosen to nominate The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation as the sole beneficiary for the proceeds that I raise when I take part for the second year in Paris to Hayling Island Charity Cycle Ride on 13th to 16th July 2005.
The Paris to Hayling annual event, now in it's 20th year, has established a substantial track record, both in the world of cycling and that of charitable fund-raising. It combines the challenges of cycling 228 miles over three days and will raise at least £150 (considerably more I hope !) for The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation being my nominated charity. details at www.hayling-cycle-ride.org.uk
All costs come out of the entry fee met by the cyclists, and so 100% of the funds raised go to the chosen charities. The body responsible for organising the Paris to Hayling Charity Cycle Ride is known as the Association for Charitable Endeavours.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. So please sponsor me now! Thank you very much for your support. Simon Jennings Please note The Roy Castle Foundation have assured PETA that neither they nor their affiliated organisations conduct or fund any experiments on animals and will not do so in the future - see http://www.peta.org.uk/cmp/viv-charlist.asp
