Story

UPDATE: Marathon completed yesterday and sore legs today!. Clocked 3h42mins, so in about the 15th percentile of nearly 36,000 racers, and everything they say abt the race starting at 20 miles is true! was on for an aspirational 3h30mins pace up to then but was q hot and the legs had nothing left as i hobbled down Embankment!. Was an amazing event, incredible amount of supporters all way thru the race and a great experience. Thanks to all for helping raise such a great amount of money.

===============
I always wondered if I'd ever get round to doing a Marathon. Unsurprisingly always found reasons to delay the actual event. So there's nothing like squeezing one in 8 days before a landmark upcoming birthday. This screams mid-life crisis! but really an opportunity to take place in a great event and raise some money for a tremendous charity. Goals: 1. Raise a decent amount for Alzheimers 2. Get through it all in one piece 3. Love to beat 4 hours. Thanks again.
