Story
Simon Vaughan Johnson and Ewan Stirling climbed Mont Blanc on 13JUL07, to raise money to enable Matthew's Friends to fund a Ketogenic Research Dietician at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Matthew's Friends advise that £10,000 would enable more than 15 children to gain access to the diet, with the added benefit that further invaluable research would be carried out as a result.
After struggling with epilepsy for several years, Simon's youngest son, Harry, has had success on this very underfunded method of treatment.
Thanks to the amazing generosity of family, friends and colleagues at HSBC, Simon and Ewan, together with Adrian Underwood and James Hogan, successfully raised over £14,000 in 2003 for Great Ormond Street Hospital, when they climbed Mount Kenya.
Please dig deep and sponsor us online to reach our goal, which will give a number of babies, children and their families a seriously improved quality of life.
