WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?
This summer (as part of bigger plans) we're heading South for 12 months to work with VSO's partners in the developing world.
Maro: building on her experience with people with special needs.
Simon: using communications to build institutional capacity for change.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
We are committed to raising £3000 to add to the money that the Department for International Development puts towards our salaries, bread and board.
By making a donation here, no matter how small, you're contributing
- to learning: we believe the inequalities which exist in our world must be challenged and can be changed. We are on a journey to help people in the UK discover this. We want you to be involved.
- to building bridges: we want to raise awareness of the connections which bind us all into exciting relationships with people in developing countries. Help make it happen.
- to a safer world. Ok, it's a long-term goal - but we truly believe that war, poverty and a life dictated by inhumane market forces can be tackled if people communicate across borders and defences.
