Story

Thanks for visiting my Great London Swim fundraising page.

I'm competing in the Great London Swim on August 15th 2009 which is a 1 mile open water swim in the Royal Victoria Dock, London, a stones throw from the 2012 Olympic site. Whilst you may think a one mile swim is a mere stroll in the park for me, remember this is an open water event and this presents a challenge in itself, colder, unknown water and we have to swim in a wetsuit, now did I say it was going to be easy?! No, but I'm up for it!

It's all for a good cause I'm raising money to support the National Memorial Arboretum /www.thenma.org.uk/  (see more pics on my facebook page hwww.facebook.com/album.php?aid=93788&id=624337272&l=1294be93a1)

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The National Memorial Arboretum gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now and many thanks.
