Story
Most people reading this know how much life can change after having a baby. Mountains of washing, night time feeds, dirty nappies etc. Not once does it cross your mind that within the first year of your childs life you will be seeking hospice care.
For one family in my wifes Post Natal group, that is exactly what happened. At 3 months old their daughter Sophie was rushed to hospital with an unknown illness. She was eventually diagnosed with a rare form of Mitochondrial Disease that has made her muscles extremely weak. She cannot sit or support her head, she has a tracheostomy and is permanently connected to a ventilator to help her breathe. There is no cure and Sophies prognosis is very poor.
Sophie and her family have received vital care and support from a local Childrens Hospice and their Community Support Team, eventually allowing them to spend precious time together at home as a family. All Hospices rely on donations to provide support to patients of all ages and their families. Because of this I've decided to run the Loseley 10K on 2nd November. Please sponsor me and allow them to continue doing this fantastic work, supporting families in their time of need.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: CHASE Hospice Care for Children gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
Thanks in advance
