Flora London Marathon 2009 · 26 April 2009 ·

Every day 250 people in the UK start losing their sight. With your help, we can be there when people need us most, support independent living, create an inclusive society and prevent avoidable sight loss. Every pound you raise will help create a future where sight loss is no longer a barrier.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure.  Your donation is transferred directly from your account to RNIB's - 100% safely. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: RNIB gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

On the 26th April 2009 I will be completing the London Marathon on behalf of The Royal National Institute of the Blind (RNIB).  RNIB are a very worthy charity that are often over-shadowed by the bigger causes, a contributing reason for my choice of charity.  Every day another 100 people start to lose their sight - your money WILL help rebuild lives.

Last September I ran the Great North Run on behalf of RNIB in Newcastle, England - reknown as the world's hardest half marathon.  I raised over £800, but this time round I have set myself a higher target of £1500.  Thus I, along with the 2 million blind people in the UK, would appreciate any donation that you could afford to make - be it 2p or £2, as Tesco's says 'every little helps'!!  RNIB receive 100% of your sponsorship.

Thank you for your generousity towards your fellow man.
