As my youngest embarks on a year of voluntary work in Israel, I have decided to also give more back to the community

 

Next month I shall be walking across Israel in order to raise funds to help to upgrade and improve two reservoirs in the Negev. These will provide much needed water to communities within this area. Projects of this nature are essential for Israel's survival and are needed now more than ever.

 

 

I will be walking about 50 miles from the Mediterranean Coast to the Sea of Gallilee.I have never done anything like this before but I am looking forward to the challenge.

 

My target is to raise £2500 and I will be personally covering my own costs for the trip. All the money donated will be going to these water projects.
