British 10K London Run 2012 · 8 July 2012 ·

We’re an independent charity working to improve lives of people with cancer and other serious conditions. We do this through medical research and by providing the best patient care using high quality scanners. Last year we scanned 18,000 patients giving them and their families hope for the future.

Story

My father-in-law has been a patient of The Mount Vernon Hospital for the past year. He's had all of his scans at The Paul Strickland Scanner Centre and has always received excellent care from attentive and supportive staff. The centre is run by a charity and its future is reliant on donations so taking part in this race is my way of giving something back to the people who are doing so much to help my father-in-law.
If you have the time and a few extra pennies, please make a donation. No matter how little,it all helps.
Thank you so much from all of us.
