On Monday 15th June I'm joining six others to cycle from Paris to St Tropez, a distance of some 550 miles which we’re planning to complete within 5½ days, averaging 100 miles per day.

 

I've been training for the past five months and although a little apprehensive, I'm relishing the challenge for which I am seeking to raise money for “Breakthrough”, an established breast cancer charity, http://www.breakthrough.org.uk/.

 

We all have family or friends who have suffered and the best way to fight breast cancer is through continued funding into research. The funds I'm able to raise will be channelled toward research into genetic causes of the disease.
