Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm running the Shakespeare Marathon on Sunday 8th May 2011 to raise money for New College Worcester.

New College Worcester is a non-maintained residential college for blind and partially sighted children and young people aged 11-19 years. Offering a full range of GCSE and A level subjects, Braille, Independent Living Skills, Mobility and a variety of outdoor and leisure activities.

I work for people with visual impairments everyday at Dolphin Computer Access, and so supporting people with low vision and blindness is something that has become really important to me. It would be great if you could help me do my bit by raising money for New College Worcester.

I've visited New College a few times, and seen all the great work that goes on in not only teaching students for their GCSEs and A levels,  but developing life skills that prepare young people with visual impairments to be independent.
