Inspired by the Guardian article 'The Tour de France? Far Too Easy' (http://www.guardian.co.uk/travel/2008/jul/13/cyclingholidays.scotland) we are mountain biking from Aberdeen to Fort William in a 4 day 200 mile trip through Deeside, the Cairngorms, the Spey Valley and over the Corrieyairack pass into the Great Glen on a combination of forestry trails and singletrack.
Having been associated with Heswall Disabled Children's Holiday Fund as a helper in the past I can testify that for many boys this is a life changing experience that teaches them independence and gives them a priceless week of fun.
