Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I know this may be a bullet out of the blue, so apologies for the impersonnel approach but you have to move with the times and the wonderful world of the web (www).

For the last 4 months life has been hectic and I have been training hard for the Brighton Sprint Triathlon on September 16th 07. The Triathlon consists of a 750m open water swim (ie in the sea) / 20km cycle / 5km run. Yep pretty tough.

I thought to make the event worthwhile I should have a cause and have decided on Alder Hey Children's hospital. Alder Hey is Europes largest childrens hospital treating over 200,000 children each year.

I know from the treatment my nephew Adam received as a baby the work done at Alder Hey is important and every penny raised will help in some way.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Alder Hey Imagine Appeal will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support Simon

PS I'll let you know how much we raise and how I get on in the near future.

Not bad for a fat bloke. (you not me) Donation by Charles Read on 01/11/07
