Hi, thanks for visiting OUR fundraising page.

First things first! There are FOUR of us that have decided to complete the challenge that is Home 2 Rome. We are:  Ruth 'Struthy' Cordey, Becky 'Duce Coup' Cooper, Martin 'Bedders' Plummer and me - Simon 'The Stig' Newman.

Basically, we have four days in which we will attempt to drive our trusty £100 Saab 900S (with only 212,000,00 miles on the clock!), from Home, yes you've guessed it - to Rome! Fortunately, the car is sound and we owe a massive THANK-YOU to Brian Stabler for getting us on the road, without him we wouldn't be doing this... Also, QUEST SAAB at Maldon have heard about us and have very generously offered to sponsor us - they've given us £500 to cover our fuel bill !!! As such, we are now known as Team Simon Newman - questsaab.com  !!!
There are various challenges to complete on route and we will be competing against approximately 100 other teams! Our team motto is: Drive it like you stole it! so, I'm sure the prize money is as good as ours... well, Little Havens!
