Cardiac Risk in the Young

Hundreds of young people die unexpectedly of heart defects every year. CRY works to raise awareness of Sudden Death Syndrome (SDS) and campaigns for proactive screening of young people. It offers help and support to those who have suffered a loss, provides medical information, carries out Mobile Cardiac Screening and ECG Testing Programmes within local communities and contributes to medical research. My story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

This is our third Treasure Hunt since our youngest son, Simon, died suddenly and tragically in July 2004, aged 35, from an undiagnosed heart condition. We decided to fundraise in Simon's memory to support the work of Cardiac Risk in the Young.

If you are taking part in the Treasure Hunt, we are delighted that you can join us for a day of fun for a very worthwhile cause that is very important to us.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to support CRY. Cardiac Risk in the Young gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
