Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

After a sensible break from my running adventures of 2006 (My feet, knees and hips have just about recovered) I have decided its time to do something for a good cause again.

The Asda Foundation is supporting the Tickled Pink Charity which shares the money raised between two breast cancer charities; Breast Cancer Care 72% and Breast Cancer Campaign 28%.

As I dont do these things by halves I have signed up to do the Yorkshire Three Peaks on the 9th of May. It covers 24 miles of the most rugged and spectacular countryside across the Yorkshire Dales Mountains of Pen-y-ghent, Ingleborough and Whernside with 5279 feet of climb. I am hoping to complete the course in under 6 hours.

If anyone fancies joining me on the day for a stroll along the moors just let me know.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me. The Asda Foundation is supporting the Tickled Pink Charity for Breast Cancer and will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
