Hey guys, on Sunday 1st June I will be running the Great Midlands 'Fun Run'. Most of you will know it as the Sutton Fun Run, and thats what I will always call it, as it all takes place Sutton Park and the Sutton Area. Its a 8.5 mile run (10km). Its called a 'fun run' but try telling me at 'Cardiac Hill' that its fun!!!!! Last year I finished in the top 500 with a time of 1 hour 13mins and this year I aim to beat it. Its all in the name of charity, and with alot of sponsership money, I am sure I can do it. My chosen charity is Cancer Research UK, as they do so much work for cancer patients in the UK. My mum suffered from breast cancer a few years ago, and so it is a charity close to my heart. I am sure you all know someone who has been affected by cancer, so you'll agree with me in thinking its a worthwhile cause. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficent way to sponsor me: Cancer Research UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
