Yes, I really am going to run a half marathon!  I must be mad . I know you will all be laughing, as the most running I normally do in a day is down Platform 8a of New Street Station after the train!. 

But I'm very excited to be involved in this, it will me a massive personal challenge for me and I'm determined to get round the 13.1 MILES course.  I really need your support and encouragement and the knowledge that lots of people will benefit from my effort will keep me going.   It doesn't matter how big or small your donation, it's all greatly appreciated for a very worthy cause.

12.07.09   Race for Life , Sutton Coldfield.  Was hoping to run this, but in the end walked with a few friends.  It was a gorgeous sunny day so really enjoyed the trek.

 

8.08.09 Charity Quiz & Raffle Evening.  Had a fantastic evening and raised £400 with family/friends attending. 

 

6.09.09 Lichfield 10k Run - Aiming to do this in 1hour 10 max.  Finish Time - 1.27mins - longer than I hoped for but it was bloody harder than I thought so just very glad that I finished!

 

27.09.09 - D.DAY - Well I did it!  3hrs 18mins, so wasn't far off what I anticipated.  Had a fantastic day and really enjoyed the experience.
