The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “The best charity is giving water to drink.”

On 17th of November, I’ll be trekking up the tallest mountain in England, Scafell Pike in an effort to raise money with Human Relief Foundation (HRF) to build deep tube water wells in Ghana for communities who do not have access to clean water.

In Ghana, close to six million people (nearly 22 percent) rely on surface water to meet their daily water needs, leaving them vulnerable to water-related illness and disease. Due to unclean water and improper sanitation, Ghana has 1,000 children under five years old dying each year from diarrhoea, caused by polluted water. This is an ongoing problem for the population.

No amount is too small. Every small bit of charity will help, so please donate anything that you can, or at the very least please share my page with your friends and family so that we can spread this message and raise more together :)
