Well thats Snowdon done in 3.5hrs. On the road to Scafell now.

We know the Three Peaks Challenge has been done before but not by any of us oldies and we are doing it in March when the weather could add to the challenge.  The three peaks are three of the highest mountains in Scotland,England and Wales -  Ben Nevis 4,409ft, Scafell Pike 3,210ft and Snowdon 3,560ft. Our plan is to start at the foot of the first, climb all three peaks and finish at the foot of the third within 24 hours to include the driving. We can't afford any mistakes to complete it in that time so our navigation will need to be spot on and there will definitely be no dawdling! We will be physically and mentally exhausted at the very least! Any tips are very welcome.

In return all we ask is that you make a donation.  The charities we are hoping to raise funds for are the Devon Community Foundation and the Cornwall Community Foundation.
