I was meditating on Deuteronomy 7: 6-11, rejoicing in the fact that I am His "treasured possession", when I started thinking about my own "treasured possessions"....what would I save if the house was burning down? Of course my first thought would be for my family. Tucking my children into bed for the night often leads me to pray for those children in the world who do not have a safe, cosy bed, and a loving family.
