Story

Hi all!

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I'm Skydiving on my birthday on July 2nd to raise money for the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society. Unfortunately my Mum has had it for about 5 years now, so I've seen first hand how it can affect people's lives. Basically your immune system attacks the lining of your joints, causing them to become inflamed. Over time, your joints become permanently damaged and stop working properly. She was recently told by her doctor that she will have to have both knees replaced, so is now on the waiting list. It really is an awful disease. There is currently no cure, so all donations will go to the NRAS to help fund research of the disease.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
