Lt John Thornton RM was tragically killed in southern Afghanistan on 30th March 2008. John died doing the job he loved, and was proud to be making a difference to both the people of Afghanistan, and to all of us back home who value our freedom. A much loved and always caring son, brother and friend to all those who were fortunate enough to have met him, his passing will leave a massive gap in all of our lives.

A group of us were scheduled to do a sponsored parachute jump on the weekend of 15th/16th November to raise money for the foundation, unfortunately this had to be postponed due to bad weather but we have secured a new date which is now 8th February 2009. If you would like to sponsor us as a group or make a donation to the charity then please do so here.
