It provides services including Befriending, telephone and web Information and Support, Educational & Leisure courses and supports the influential Harrow User Group, thereby improving the quality of life of people struggling with mental health problems.

 Dear All,
 
Since we are both terrified of heights we have decided to throw ourselves off a plane from 13,000 feet to raise plenty of money for Mind in Harrow (a subsidiary of Mind, a leading mental health charity) to create awareness about Mental Health problems.
The big jump will happen on Sunday 13th July in Brackley.  You're all welcome to come and watch!!
A little more about MIND....
Mind works to create a better life for everyone with experience of mental distress by:


* challenging discrimination and promoting inclusion

* advancing the views, needs and ambitions of people with mental health problems

* influencing policy though campaigning and education

* achieving equal rights through campaigning and education.

-1 in 4 people in the UK suffer from mental illness

-A staggering 15 million people or 25% of UK's population has felt abused, worthless, low self-esteemed, bullied, made attempts at suicide and worse still, succeeded.
