Heart Research UK- PepsiCo I.T. Charity Sky Dive 2008 · 30 August 2008 ·

Every 5 minutes, someone dies from heart diseases in the UK. We need to tackle this problem head on, and we need to start today. Your donations will fund lifesaving medical research to find new treatments and cures. We need your help, until there are no more deaths from heart diseases.

Story

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehah................

On Saturday, August 30th, a brave bunch of adventurous souls from PepsiCo IT and some of their friends will head off to Hinton Skydiving Centre (www.skydive.co.uk) to jump out of a perfectly good plane to have fun and to raise money for "Heart Research UK".

We urge you to check out the  "Heart Research UK" website to find out the great work they are doing.  Heart Disease is the biggest killer in Britain and Australia and many other countries around the world.  Help them continue their great, great work.

As you will see from the event page, you will see a number of individuals that have setup JustGiving Fundraising Pages.  We urge you to use those to sponsor people you know to help them hit their own fundraising targets.  However, if you know a few people in that list or you don't know any and just want to sponsor the event then please donate using this page.

Any amount you can donate would be greatly appreciated.

If you wish to join us and skydive with us then it's not too late.

Everyone's welcome to come and watch and support!

Thanks for reading.  Please donate generously.  If you can't donate this time around... then please at least keep your fingers crossed that we have decent weather!

Siobhan, Allan, Ricky and Mike

PS:  As with any organised charity event, there are associated costs with organising and running the event.  However, all participants of this event that are raising money have been asked to contribute a significant amount of these costs themselves.  This will ensure that at least 60 pence in every pound you donate go to the charity themselves.  Over half of the participants in this event are contributing the entire cost of their jump themselves meaning 100% of monies raised on their behalf go directly to "Heart Research UK".
